Skyrim was a major let down. After all the hype it was boring. Oblivions dungeons and overall ambiance was way more intense in my opinion. Oblivion is up there in my top five games this gen...
In no particular order...
Oblivion
Fallout
Infamous
Portal
Demons souls
Rainbow 6 Vegas
Its games like these that suck me in and even after investing over a hundred hours I never feel its a chore. Games like these cause me to...
Agreed. What I loved most about the first one was being able to stalk big daddies. I spent hours tracking then and doing turkey peek sniper shots then running like hell to hide Lol. In this installment, they lacked that "David vs Goliath" with the steam punk heart guys. Its like they made it more casual. I like challenges. I like spending an hour or so on one level getting lost in the design and playing hide and seek with badass enemies.
Ha. That is where I quit playing. The level on the ship where you have to take out the balloon ships and the endless respawn of enemies. I was like this is stupid.
BioShock I finite had everything going for it except the actual gameplay in fighting enemies. Mindless shooting. They gave you all these magic abilities and I just ran through using fire and a machine gun. There is nothing more 2007 than just sitting back and shooting wave after wave if enemies who apparently have ...
Note to author. Keep dreaming. Activision has a formula that makes them a lot of money. People buy their game in droves. They are not going to reinvent the wheel and lose money. I burnt out on fps about 4 years ago so I don't have a dog in this race but if I could think of anything that would get them to change the core gameplay it would be to not buy their games as they are now.
Its all about what I get for my money. For me, I want games. Awesome games. I pay for psplus right now because Sony provides me with games for my subscription cost. I get my saves backed up and updates downloaded automatically. This makes my games easier to manage and play. I also get access to full games to play each month. Some minis, trials, and full releases. This to me is worth the cost.
If MS does a similar thing I would pay for live on the next Xbox. Unfortunately, I c...
Agreed. It release day after my birthday and I have the day off from work. Phone is going to be turned off after pizza shows up and my plasma is gonna get a marathon workout.
Lol @ boomer. Man that idiot would throw grenades right against a wall and bounce back in his face. God I used to scream at him Lol.
Portal is overrated? I think not. It is witty, challenging and has a great plot with top notch characters. From the innocent sounding turrets to GLADOS, this game is what a game should be. Well made, addictive and overall great gameplay.
Fusion sounds like lower back surgery.
Super pumped for this game. Plat both others and 100% in festival. I love sucker punch.
Lol I owe you a bubble, mate.I just got into game of thrones last week and binge watched the first 2 seasons. Prior to that, I thought you were just retarded for the "a man does this" thing. Anyway, my apologies and here's a bubble.
Gaming bolt, good job on this article. All on one page and quite in depth. I gave you a couple clicks to show gratitude for not having every question on a seperate page.
On topic. This game has me foaming at the mouth. I'm really excited to see the final product.
Ha! I saw that, too. 299 pounds? Thats, what? 229.00 USD?
Not for me. When I play im horizontal in my recliner, headphones on and 6 feet from my TV. Winter months I have my super soft microfiber blanket over me. I DO NOT want to get up and go change discs for "nostalgic purposes".
Please please do put every hint in glowing yellow or every hiding place with shiny eye catchers. I want to simply have a clear screen and have to figure it all out on my own.
This game is not even a rent. I'm waiting for TLOU, fallout 4, Infamous3 and watch dogs. Running around with akimbo shotguns got old for me about 4 years ago. Unless ubisoft brings back spy vs merch or the new rainbow is a next gen Vegas then im just not interested in mp unless its dark souls style.
I agree. It all boils down to personal preference. For me, I'm not into motion stuff or social media. I just want to sit down grab a controller and play awesome games. So far, Sony has my attention. This last gen I really enjoyed all their exclusives. Infamous and uncharted and little big planet are top notch games. Plus the multiplats like fallout, etc are bonus.
With hearing devs say how much easier the PS 4 is to code for then I just expect more games with better quali...
Which I don't see how it can be bad. I rent a game...OK. So I get PLUS and "rent" Infamous 2. In about 4 weeks I platinum the game. OK, so I have literally done everything in the game I could do. I don't need it anymore.
So I pay 50 bucks to rent infamous for a year. I also got little big planet 2 and Vanquish, spec ops and more. If I had paid 60 bucks a pop for each full game I "rented" I would have spent about 350 bucks. After reselling then on ...
Preach it brotha! Give me a controller, my recliner, sennheiser 380 HD pros headphones and my Sammy LED TV then go away for 9 hours Lol.
My fear is she will turn Into Penny like in the WoW Big Bang Theory episode. As it is she's never even played Mario. I shit you not. But she has seen me play Infamous and was all, "hey do those grenade things again! Over there is a guy get him! Watch out! You missed a shard!!!". I know if she ever picked up a controller it would be all over. I will never show her Journey. I would never see her again.
